Description
This is a 16 week full-semester class that covers concepts in High School Physics I will be integrating concepts from Part 1 into Part 2, however the classes can technically be taken in either order.
I will teach using the Socratic method as much as possible while presenting concepts and problems. Typically at the end of each class, we will go over a worksheet together that will help the students master the topics for that class; typically each student is asked to provide an answer for one or two questions on the worksheet. During the class, images, activities, and small experiments will help the students to master the topics.
Optional work for the students to do outside of class includes homework problems with answers, reading assignments from an e-book, and project-based assignments that learners can do at home as well as three optional tests with answers so learners can check their understanding.
Students should have a solid understanding of Algebra 1 to do well in the class.
